After some strong winds and heavy lake effect rain overnight we found the river up and a little off color this morning, perfect combination to pull some fish in the river. We fished the DSR today with a decent number Salmon moving thru till about 8, then a slow trickle after that. This Brown Trout came to the net for Colin, what a great plus to the day..

Hurricane Earl going to bring us some heavy rain this weekend, along with a good push of Salmon moving thru the lower river??? Or will the 750cfs release be enough to do it??
I have this Saturday and Sunday open, “Early King Special” From Daylight til 11:00am $100 per person, in the DSR.. Who wants to be down there with me when they come???
I do have some Prime Salmon Dates still open, they won’t last long now with the fishing being close - Give me a call 315-298-3949 or e-mail me to book a trip.

Salmon are being caught on the lake from 60′ fow out to 100′ over the weekend. Yesterday we saw almost 2″ of rain and this morning the Pineville flow gauge shows 512 cfs, this will send a few that were in close up the river…. I did talk to a friend fishing the DSR this morning and he reported a few small pods of fishing were moving thru down low.
Flow has been update with the rain: Until 8:00 PM today, 185 CFS
From 8:00 PM today until 9:00 PM tomorrow, Tue, 1,800 CFS

The Salmon have finally arrived in decent number’s on the Eastern End of Lake Ontario. I was out Saturday trolling on the lake for Browns and we landed a 28lb King and a 16lb Coho mixed in with the Browns. Since then they have made their apperance from Oswego to North of Sandy Pond.

Phil with a 28lb King.

Brian with a 16 lb Coho.
I still have some Salmon Dates open, they won’t last long now - Give me a call 315-298-3949 or e-mail me to book a trip or discuss one.
